The little Goli, is a big fan of cinema, but her brother decided to band her from theatre.

Goli’s story takes place in the Tehran 1970s, and the city is changing a lot during these
50 years. So, I did a lot of photoshoots and urban sketches in the old parts of the city, to find suitable locations and details. here are some examples.

A hasty and shallow acquaintance with some Young people from Tehran; Something of the same fabric that reaches us through the camera lens these days.
Official teaser of 11th TIAF festival – The festival’s Director, Mr. Karimi Saremi, invited eleven Iranian Animation Directors, including me, who had attended and received awards in previous TIAFs, to create a two-minute teaser for the eleventh TIAF. Each of us was asked to contribute a few seconds of animation in our personal style, ranging from 2D, 3D, and stop motion to experimental animation. The theme for the teaser was ‘Fish.’ This experience turned out to be truly amazing for me, and the teaser itself was later showcased at the Annecy Festival in the TV & commissioned category.
My previous and next parts were done by to amazing artists, Amin Haghshenas and Maryam Kashkoonli Nia, and I tried to do my best to keep continouity, while telling my very short fish-story!
